What photos are useful?

Include a wide shot showing the entire area on the boat, and a couple of close-up shots of the specific damage or surface condition.

Will you quote from photos?

For many cosmetic repairs and maintenance tasks, yes. However, for structural fibreglass repairs or deep damage, an on-site inspection is usually required.
